We are Dell Register Partner. This allows us to work closely with Dell to refurbished and sell their products as we adhere to their strict quality control when refurbishing their products. We predominately take Dell customer returns and outlet products direct from Dell and refurbish them for reselling on our website/eBay. The products we purchase can have been returned for any number of reasons, cancelled orders or lease machines that have been returned at the end of the hire periods, customer returns that have gone wrong within the warranty period or something as simple as Dell having excess stock.
This means that we take these products inspect, test, repair, replace, clean and restore to nearly new or as close as we can get condition. Most are in an A grade condition but will have some very minor cosmetic blemishes incurred in the short time of use. Due to the volume of machines that pass through our factory we don’t have an individual records of what has been replaced/fix. The age of can vary from a couple of weeks to a few years old, obviously the newer the models the newer the machines.
Part of our service agreement with Dell is that the service tags are removed as the item is no longer supported by Dell but by us at MCS. This means that all the data from that machine is removed from Dells online automated support meaning nothing is displayed when you enter a tag into the support page. We also do not have access to the history of a machine or the previous owners details due to data protection.The item will have a 1 year MCS return to base warranty. This means that if you are unfortunate to have a hardware issue in the year after purchase we will repair, replace, exchange or refund the item. It is also a return to base warranty meaning you are to cover the costs of returning the item to use outside of the first 30 Days. We are then responsible for the return postage back to you once the warranty issue has been resolved. Accidental Damage is not covered. Software issues are not covered.
